Fantic Factory Racing EMX125’s Simone Mancini is the new 125cc Rookies Cup Champion! In Castiglione del Lago, he secured another brilliant double victory aboard his Fantic XX 125, sealing a perfect championship with three overall wins out of three rounds.
Coming off two victories in Montevarchi and Ponte a Egola, Simone Mancini went into the Rookies Cup final with the championship leader’s red plate firmly on his Fantic XX 125. The 17-year-old Italian put on a masterclass performance in Castiglione del Lago, setting the fastest lap time in his qualifying group and leading every lap in both races to secure the win.
The Fantic Factory Racing EMX125 rider clinched the title with the perfect score, winning all three rounds of the highly competitive series for young and promising riders on their 125 cc machines, held alongside the Italian Motocross Prestige Championship.
Following the stunning 1-2 finish by Noel Zanocz and Simone Mancini at the Junior World Championship, this is yet another success for the Fantic XX 125 in what has been a season to remember. And the story is far from over, as the fight for the EMX125 title will be decided at the MXGP of Castilla la Mancha in Spain at the end of the month.

Simone Mancini è Campione Rookies Cup 125! A Castiglione del Lago ha conquistato un’altra splendida doppietta in sella alla Fantic XX 125, mettendo il sigillo a un campionato perfetto con tre vittorie su tre appuntamenti disputati.
Forte dei successi ottenuti a Montevarchi e Ponte a Egola, Simone Mancini si è presentato all’atto finale della Rookies Cup 2024 a Castiglione del Lago (Perugia) con la tabella rossa del leader indiscusso di questo prestigioso trofeo, un banco di prova importante per le giovani promesse che si svolge in concomitanza con il Campionato Italiano Motocross Pro Prestige.
Il pilota del team Fantic Factory Racing EMX125 ha segnato il miglior tempo nel suo gruppo di prove cronometrate, è partito fortissimo con la sua Fantic XX 125 e ha condotto tutte e due le manche in testa dal primo all’ultimo giro. Con un altro weekend da incorniciare, il 17enne marchigiano si è laureato Campione della Rookies Cup 125.
Dopo la straordinaria doppietta di Noel Zanocz e Simone Mancini al mondiale Junior, si aggiunge un altro trofeo alla lunga lista di successi già ottenuti dalla Fantic XX 125 in questa stagione memorabile. E non è finita qui perché si trova in piena lotta anche per il titolo europeo EMX125 che si deciderà a fine mese al GP di Castilla la Mancha in Spagna.
